Zooka is, without a doubt an amazing, mesmerizing character and the reason is that he somehow manages to make every magical effect entertaining for the whole family. Zooka has been a resident at the world famous Blackpool Tower Ballroom and was recently accompanied on stage by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra creating Magic and Wonder for thousands.
Zooka is performed by the very talented Mike Stuart who has a huge wealth of entertainment experience. His career started at the age of twelve performing small magic tricks for his school friends. After being invited to perform at the prestigious British Magical Championships aged seventeen he decided to go professional and began a season at Alton Towers performing Street Magic. He soon accepted contracts at Disneyland Paris and also spent six years cruising around Europe. His magic has been seen by thousands and since developing the brand Zooka he’s never looked back. From vanishing engagement rings on the street outside a Major Football Club to levitating beautiful assistants on the Bridge Water Hall Stage – it doesn’t matter whether there are one or two people or thousands, the response he generates to what he performs is always one of total enjoyment.
You may have also seen one of Mike’s wonderful magical creations on a West End stage or at the Royal Stratford Theatre as he has advised on major productions like ‘Tin Tin’ and ‘Measure for Measure’.
