Goronwy has performed professionally for 28 years, in front of audiences of varied sizes across the world. He first appeared at the age of 4, in The Dolls House at The Crucible Theatre, Sheffield (where the snooker is). He then retired from serious drama and decided to try to make people laugh instead and has done this in some form ever since!
He has appeared in cabarets, circuses, plays, operas, ballets, on stages, on the street, on land, on the sea, on concrete, on grass, at weddings, at funerals, in schools, in prisons, in hospitals, in theatres, in big tops, in films, on television and on radios across the world.
On the way he has been seen at thousands of venues including at The Royal National Theatre, on BBC Television and Radio, on ITV, on Channel 4, in The Moscow State Circus, at Glastonbury Festival, Edinburgh Festival, with English Touring Opera and has toured major UK theatres with the company he produces, Slightly Fat Features – a hugely successful comedy variety troupe.
His unique performances include stand up comedy, circus skills, magic, live music, song, dance and improvisation. He is loved by audiences worldwide whether performing as a one man show, as part of a double act or in his own company, or as part of any theatrical event.
