Alan Vandome is half-Japanese and fell under the spell of magic at the age of six, when he got his first magic set. People laughed when he said he wanted to be a magician, which spurred him on! By the age of sixteen he was winning adult magic competitions and awards, and began incorporating his eastern heritage into his act. That show became Tensai, meaning ‘genius’ in Japanese. Tensai is completed by Alan’s wife, Caroline. Their close rapport on stage charms and entertains audiences worldwide.
