Jez Luton is that rare combination of serious musician, vocalist and natural entertainer.
Jez began playing a variety of different instruments while still at School and it was at this time that he first discovered he could sing and would regularly perform songs to his peers at school. In his teens he began to play and listen to all genres of music; Country, Rockabilly, Folk, Pop, Blues and Swing. This is perhaps the key to Jez’s unique skills as an entertainer in that he is able to cherry pick from such a diverse range of music.
Jez has worked as a Session Guitarist in London, as an accompanist to the great American songwriter Tom Paxton, toured with several bands in Europe, Canada and North America, and even found himself playing Classical Guitar for the legendary Ballet Rambert.
Jez has worked as a Music Instructor for many years and as a Guitar Specialist, but it is in front of an audience that Jez is most at home; singing songs, telling jokes and stories and generally creating a feel good atmosphere, whether he is performing in Concert Venues, Pubs, Clubs or one of the many Hotels and Holiday Parks in Jez’s beloved South-West.
