RIO performs mainly as a duo (with live guitar) but can perform as a three or four-piece band with bass and drums. They are an international musical act that have played in Five Star Hotels across the Middle-east to Europe, and the whole of the UK, they can cater for any situation, large corporate functions, parties and smaller events.
Lead Vocals … Lyn Ritchie
Lyn has a CV that speaks for itself. She has many years of experience fronting bands, experience that has taken her around the world many times. With a vast amount of recorded and session work behind her she has a beautiful, powerful and soulful voice with golden tones.
Lyn has provided the voice for many jingles for both Radio 1 and radio 2 programs.
Lead Guitar and Lead Vocals … Paul Johnson
Paul has 20 years’ experience as a singer/guitarist, sessioning for and fronting many bands. Like Lyn, he has spent much of his time in recording studios working on his own and other people’s albums and has toured with bands such as INXS and The Stranglers.
Paul has a soulful voice that compliments Lyn’s and together they produce high quality tight harmonies.
