The vivacious, charismatic Judy Vaughan is a vocal talent with the ability to light up a stage. She flows with jazz and blues, her musical inspiration and experience coming from performing a wide range of musical genres such as, Jazz, Swing, Blues, Gospel, Soul and Operetta.
Judy loves the thrill of performing and has the occasional opportunity to work with vocal ensembles as well as jazz and blues bands for functions. Judy has also performed in musical extravaganzas, including an appearance as a support act for Bobby Davro & Kenny Lynch’s ‘Sinatra Tribute’ tour, and a fundraiser event with Christopher Biggins and Paul Daniels.
Being a part of great musical productions by Reading Operatic Society, HAODS & KTP with leading roles in Foot Loose, Tommy, Follies, the UK Premiere of Raffles of Singapore, Showboat, Chicago, Hot Mikado and Stepping Out- The Musical, each bringing huge but wonderful challenges of ‘performing music in character’.
It has been a busy time for Judy, she has written a show which she is preparing to stage in the near future, she also performs either as a solo artist or with a band for functions and special events around the country.
